Thank you, Mastercard, for sharing my story of corruption in a training video

In 2010, I pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to violate the FCPA and served fourteen and a half months at a U.S. federal prison camp. About five years later, I began telling my story in public, to help others understand the compliance risks those on the front lines of business face every day.

One company that heard my story was Mastercard. After that session, they asked if we could work together to produce a compliance training film. I was honored to do so.

The result of our collaboration was an 11-minute video called “Behind the Bribe.” Through the support of Mastercard, the video became available for licensing from Front-Line Anti-Bribery LLC. It has now been viewed at training events on five continents, by more than a hundred thousand individuals from scores of companies.

Recently, in response to many requests, “Behind the Bribe” has become available for licensing on a short-term basis. The “day pass” allows companies 24-hour access to the video, so that it can be shown and discussed during sales meetings, compliance workshops, and other company-wide or smaller events.

The “day pass” is activated via a simple link and code.

“Behind the Bribe” is designed for use by any company in any industry, and in any location.

Long-term licensing is still available as well.

Once again, my thanks to Mastercard and Karen Griffin, EVP and Chief Compliance Officer for Mastercard, for their support in bringing “Behind the Bribe” to the wider compliance community.

As some readers of the FCPA Blog may know, “Behind the Bribe” won two Silver Telly Awards in 2018 and a prestigious Communicator Award of Excellence for Training for Corporate Use.

Here’s the one minute trailer:
