Last week I asked in a post on the FCPA Blog for volunteers interested in helping us translate the Trust Alliance Principles (TAP) — a set of global Principles to help organizations and teams start a dialogue around building trust.
The response was tremendous!
Eight readers offered to translate TAP into Brazilian Portuguese.
(The Portuguese translation has just been published (pdf) thanks to the quick turnaround of Raphael Loschiavo Cerdeira, Legal & Compliance Manager for the Central America and the Caribbean region at Samsung Electronics Latinoamérica.)
We also had offers for new translators for Japanese, Italian, and Hebrew, and modifications for the current Arabic publication.
Those translations will be added to the six others already available — English, Dutch, Finnish, French, Hindi, and Spanish — at no cost to readers on our website.
My sincere thanks to the readers of the FCPA Blog for their support and enthusiasm for the Trust Alliance Principles.
It’s gratifying to know how many people we’re reaching.
And by the way — we’re still hoping for help with our German and Chinese TAP translations.
Other languages are welcome too.
Each translator is given proper attribution.
