New FCPA investigations reported in 2018

Since the start of 2018, six companies have reported new overseas bribery investigations, according to FCPA Tracker.

The companies come from the UK, the United States (2), Switzerland, Israel, and Canada.

Industries represented by the new investigations are:

• Defense Technology
• Security and Inspection Systems
• Banking
• Engineering and Construction
• Chemicals
• Mining

Four of the new investigations were disclosed in February, and one each in January and March.

As of today, FCPA Tracker shows 136 ongoing FCPA-related investigations.
