We spoke last week with Zach Abramowitz, a columnist for Above the Law. The topic was the DOJ’s failed attempt to extradite Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash from Austria.
The DOJ charged him and others in an $18 million bribe plot to win mining rights in India.
A judge in Austria said last month the charges were politically motivated — Firtash is a pro-Russia Ukrainian — and he accused the DOJ of fabricating testimony.
Zach Abramowitz isn’t just a writer. He’s also a former Biglaw associate and currently CEO and co-founder of ReplyAll. We used ReplyAll’s nifty software for the Above the Law interview. It let’s you post “live” interviews while they’re happening. (Zach’s interview with Mark Cuban lasted a week.)
