The IACA Regional Summer Academy – Latin America is a new seven-day program for professionals seeking to sharpen their anti-corruption work in this part of the world.
It is based on International Anti-Corruption Academy’s successful annual Summer Academy and specifically focuses on Latin America.
It will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina from November 21 to 27, 2015.
The application deadline is October 16.
The interdisciplinary curriculum combines theory and practice and consists of lectures, roundtable discussions, workshops and teambuilding exercises.
The IACA has drawn together an exceptional range of lecturers, among others, Luis Moreno Ocampo, former chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Ronald MacLean-Abaroa, former mayor of La Paz and World Bank expert, Claremont Graduate University Professor Robert Klitgaard, a representative of the Inter-American Development Bank, among others.
The IACA Regional Academy – Latin America will mainly be conducted in Spanish.
Enrollment is open to Spanish-speaking professionals with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
Media representatives, students, and researchers are also encouraged to apply.
The fee is €350.
