A volunteer researcher has tabulated all of the countries mentioned or reported in connection with the 104 companies included on the latest Corporate Investigations List.
China leads the countries reported to be involved in FCPA investigations with 39 mentions.
Brazil is next with 10 mentions, and Russia with 9.
In all, countries were identified or reported by name 154 times in connection with the current Corporate Investigations List.
Some issuers don’t disclose all or any countries where potential FCPA violations might have occurred.

It is interesting to note that some of the really corrupt African countries, like Nigeria, Ghana and Gabon have not been mentioned. Hmmm…out of sight, out of mind. Makes you wonder if its going to be business as usual.
Can we get the details of the companies in each country. I would be interested in knowing the 8 companies in India that are under investigation as mentioned in the list above. Thanks!
