FCPA Blog contributing editor Tom Fox will be signing copies of his latest book, Best Practices under the FCPA and Bribery Act: How to Create a First Class Compliance Program, from 5-7 p.m. on June 6 at the River Oaks Bookstore located at 3270 Westheimer Road in Houston.
Best Practices includes lessons Tom has learned during his work in anti-corruption and anti-bribery compliance programs, specifically those involving the FCPA and the U.K. Bribery Act.
‘The blog posts I write regularly on compliance program specifics are the basis for my latest book,’ he said. ‘Best Practices provides compliance practitioners with valuable information about the nuts and bolts of compliance.’
Tom’s first book, Lessons Learned on Compliance and Ethics, was an Amazon bestseller in its category. He also writes the FCPA Compliance and Ethics Blog, named one of the Top 25 Business Law Blogs in 2010 and 2011 by LexisNexis.
Tom currently heads his own compliance-related law practice in Houston. He previously served as the General Counsel of Drilling Controls Inc., a worldwide oil field manufacturing and service company. Before that, he was Division Counsel with Halliburton Energy Services Inc.
