Summary: Anti-corruption authorities said they uncovered evidence linking Indoguna Utama chief Maria Elizabeth Liman to an ongoing corruption probe surrounding meat import quotas. Authorities allege Liman lobbied Lutfi Hasan Ishaaq for aid in securing an import permit from Suswono. Ishaaq and an aid are already in custody over charges they received bribes from Indoguna Utama chief executive Juard Efendi. Liman’s attorney denied the charges, saying the authorities are using allegations against his client to get to Suswono.
