The China Compliance Digest (CCD) was recently cited by a Congressional group that monitors human rights and the development of the rule of law in China.
The CCD — a weekly e-newsletter published by ethiXbase — is a sister publication of the FCPA Blog.
It was used as a source by the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) for its 2012 annual report.
Congressman Chris Smith (NJ), writing as chairman of the CECC, and co-chairman Senator Sherrod Brown (OH) said, “Across the 19 issues of our report, we observed Chinese citizens at all levels stepping up often at great risk, to demand human rights, rule of law, fair labor practices, and accountability from their leaders.”
