Tom Fox of the FCPA Compliance and Ethics BlogFor a while now, those in the compliance community have counted themselves fortunate to have Tom Fox in their midst.
If you haven’t met him, Tom is a full-sized, opened-faced Texan, with a manner that’s easy and reassuring. Spend some time with him and pretty soon you’re convinced that everything is running on the rails, right as rain.
His FCPA Compliance and Ethics Blog is Tom all over. Go there looking for criticism of anyone or anything and you’ll be disappointed. There isn’t any. But go there looking for practical advice about how and why to comply with the FCPA and laws like it, and you’ll be happy every time.
Keeping on the right side of the law is what Tom and his blog are all about. Somehow he finds vein after vein of pure compliance gold, then he hands it out freely to anyone with an interest.
On Friday, he departed from his usual message, but just a bit.
He posted 15 blog sites to check out on April 15. It’s pure Tom Fox — generous, practical, and full of his special brand of compliance wisdom. (About this space, Tom said: “If the FCPA Blog didn’t exist, someone would have to create it . . . .”)
If you haven’t seen his blog or his fab fifteen, take a look.
